Responsibilities:

-Check all drawings, specifications and schedule of works/bills of quantities in contract Documents for discrepancies.

-Carry out inspections, site supervision to ensure that all M&E works are carried out as per approved specifications & drawings with the approved material and the appropriate sequent and methods.

-To ensure that the M&E works are carried out in accordance with the provision Of the Statutory Acts & Regulations.

-Keep and maintain the following documents, books and records (where applicable)

• A site inspection record book.
• A record of attendance of the qualified person / consultants and the site supervisor.
• A record of all the departures & deviations relating to the M&E works as provided by Consultants.
• A record of inspection and approval for concreting.
• A Site Investigation Report
• A record of Inspection and Approval at each of the following stages of the M&E works.
• A record of all other tests of or in connection with the M&E work.

-Witness & verify any field test carried out on site:

- Witness & verify any Testing & commissioning of M&E services installed.

-Suggest suitable / workable alternate method of installation in order to resolve site difficulties / issues complying with Singapore Code of Practice.

-Attend weekly progress meeting to urderstand any changes and difficulties at site

-Verify progess/reports and claims submitted by sub-contractor

-Monitor the progress the of the M&E works on site

-Escalate any issues to relevant parties immediately.

-Enforce quality and safety control on site and be proactive in resolving and managing site issues.

-Other duties as assigned by the Employer from time to time

-Assist Consultant to verify As built records, drawings  and documents

-Other ad hoc duties as assigned by your immediate superior or the management

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Diploma
• 5 years of experience as a RTO-M&E in similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
