Project Manager (Construction/Architectural)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage MRT architectural construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are effectively implemented.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of architectural designs and specifications in MRT construction projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among project teams and subcontractors.
  • Handle contract negotiations, procurement, and coordination of materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ten (10) years relevant experience and a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Construction Project Manager, with specific experience in MRT architectural works.
  • In-depth knowledge of MRT infrastructure projects, architectural design processes, and construction methodologies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices in MRT construction.
