Architect (Design & Architecture)

Location: Jurong East, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept development through to completion of construction.
  • Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work to alleviate conflicts, dispute.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and consultants to ensure all design objectives are met, completion within project timelines and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications, and achieve a quality aspect of architectural works without deviation to authority requirements
  • Create innovative and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs that reflect the unique vision along with the ability to align with clients’ requirements.
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction progress meets design intent and quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and design.
  • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, preferably with accreditation with the Board of Architects, Singapore
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an architectural firm, with a focus on high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and authority submission procedures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/ArchiCAD, V-ray SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modelling/Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop/Microsoft Programs, or any basic architecture software.
  • Strong design sensibility and ability to develop innovative and compelling design concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have keen eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in both team management and project management.
  • Able to independently or under supervision prepare drawings and or documentation at all stages of the project
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within schedules and budgets.
