- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor position within engineering, construction, and specialized sectors like pharmaceutical or industrial, involves managing the full cost lifecycle of projects from tender to final account. This role requires technical expertise, contract administration skills, and leadership capabilities to manage costs, subcontracts, and client relations
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimations based on drawings and specifications.
- Call for quotations, evaluate vendors/subcontractors, and negotiate to arrive at competitive tender pricing
- Manage project budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure projects are completed within the approved budget.
- Prepare monthly budget statements and report on cost variations.
- Verify subcontractor/supplier claims and prepare payment certificates.
- Manage and negotiate Variation Orders (VO), extension of time (EOT) submissions, and final account settlements.
- Preparation and review of the drawings and estimates Involving in the design and construction of structures in a pharmaceutical plant
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Commercial Management, experience specifically in construction, engineering, or specialized sectors like pharmaceutical projects.
