Scope of Work

Position: BIM Drafter / BIM Modeller

1. BIM Modelling & Drafting

  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
  • Develop architectural / structural / MEP models based on project requirements.
  • Create parametric families in Revit (if required).
  • Produce shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings from Revit model.
  • Ensure modelling complies with project LOD requirements.

2. Revit Modelling Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate Revit models.
  • Update model based on site changes and consultant comments.
  • Generate schedules (BOQ, equipment schedule, cable schedule) from Revit.
  • Maintain proper worksets and model coordination standards.
  • Link and coordinate models (architectural, structural, MEP) in Revit.

3. Coordination & Clash Detection

  • Export Revit model to Navisworks for clash detection.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings.
  • Resolve clashes and update model accordingly.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

4. Documentation & Deliverables

  • Generate detailed drawings directly from Revit model.
  • Ensure all drawings are consistent with BIM model.
  • Maintain proper document control as per company SOP.
  • Submit drawings for approval and revise as per comments.

5. Standards & Compliance

  • Follow BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Comply with project BIM standards and local authority requirements.
  • Maintain model accuracy, naming standards, and file management.

6. Software Requirements

  • Autodesk Revit (Primary Software)
  • Navisworks (Clash Detection)
  • AutoCAD (2D drafting support)
  • BIM 360 / ACC (if applicable)
