Job Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Develop and produce detailed tender and construction drawings for mechanical systems
- Define project scope, identify potential issues, and raise clarifications as needed
- Evaluate quotations and bid documents to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare and present comprehensive design reports to project stakeholders
- Prepare and manage the construction drawing management forms, ensuring all drawings are updated and accurate
- Create and verify calculation reports to support the design process
- Review and verify all design and construction drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Review and validate major equipment and material specification sheets
- Approve major equipment purchase requisitions and ensure procurement aligns with project needs
- Manage and coordinate external design tasks for respective disciplines
- Conduct design handover sessions with clients and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in detail design of Mechanical Systems (ACMV, Chilled water plant, Building Services, Cleanrooms, etc)
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other mechanical design tools
- Understanding of HVAC systems, piping, pressure vessels, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
