The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), which is under the College of Engineering, aspires to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. Currently, it has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students and is rapidly expandingits range of educational and research activities. The School offers the following three programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Maritime Studies. The faculty in the School has led major university-wide strategic research thrusts in space creation, water research and sustainable built environment . Going forward, we would like to strengthen our research and education capabilities in the areas related to civil engineering.

We invite applications for Assistant Professor Position in Civil Engineering.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong research track record or clear potential in areas aligned with national priority areas, such as (but not limited to) advanced construction materials,urban underground construction, building health monitoring, digital construction, low altitude economy, geospatial and transport. The ability to publish in reputable journals and secure competitive research funding is expected. Strong teaching and communication skills are essential.
