Job Description
Job Requirements
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities for construction projects
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction period
- Measure and value work done at site
- Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
- Evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor claims
- Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Maintain proper cost records and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and workplace safety regulations
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in the construction sector
- Knowledge of construction contracts and cost control procedures
- Able to read and understand construction drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic construction software
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of local construction regulations is an advantage
