Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare all documents such as schedule of works, deliveries, purchase order, quantity estimate, transmittals, daily accomplishments, progress and weekly monitoring, materials monitoring and updates plans for revisions

2. Review and understand project drawings specifications and design requirements ensuring adherence to codes and standards.

3. Coordinate and oversee all Architectural works on site/off site

4. Coordinate for planning, programming and monitoring of work progress on site

5. Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement compliant and aesthetically aligned designs.

6. Review material and shop drawing submissions from subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved specifications

7. Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings with consultants and clients to report project updates

8. Review contract drawings and identify discrepancies and requests for information

9. To assist the Site Quantity Surveyor and Project manager to qualify need of finishes materials e.g aluminium of quotation and award to supplier or vendors.

10. Coordinate pre-consultations and discussions with authorities for design and submission.

11. Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all projects and technical specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement.

12. Prepare submittals, shop drawings, request for information for consultant's approval, work inspection request and application checklist prior for handover and qa/qc inspection

13. Prepare Monthly Progress Claims

14. Chase Certificates & Progress Payment

15. Prepare Final Accounts to Maincon & Subcon

16. Prepares detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction

17. ⁠Prepares drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works

18. ⁠Understands the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings ensuring that the drawings are easily understood by the project teams

19. ⁠Explains drawings to production or project teams and provide adjustments as necessary

Requirements:

• Degree or certification in drafting or a related field preferred

• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and diagrams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• To produce construction drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools.

• Experience utilizing Autodesk Revit/Navisworks and AutoCAD software

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and authorities.

• Familiarity with ISO standards.
