- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating structural design and site details with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, constructability, and consistency.
- Develop and manage the structural works schedule in alignment with the Project Master Programme.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control structural subcontractors' progress, quality, and site activities to prevent clashes, delays, and abortive work.
- Review, update, and coordinate structural drawings, including design drawings, shop drawings, BBS, and construction drawings.
- Resolve site structural issues such as drawing discrepancies, RFIs, technical queries, method statements, and technical correspondences.
- Use BIM or equivalent tools for structural coordination, clash detection, and constructability review.
- Prepare, review, and manage submissions of structural shop drawings, materials, and method statements for Consultant and authority approval.
- Supervise and inspect structural works (RC works, steel structures, foundations, and temporary works) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards.
- Coordinate material requisition, work sequencing, cost control, and assist QS in verifying subcontractor progress claims and variations.
- Maintain proper project documentation and support project handover, including As-Built drawings, test records, O&M manuals.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering or site coordination within the Singapore construction industry.
- Good knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes (BCA, URA, SCDF, NEA, LTA, etc.).
- Familiar with CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards and ISO quality documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other project coordination software.
