Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Handle project cost control, variations, and progress claims
• Prepare interim and final accounts
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend awards
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements
• Attend site meetings and conduct site measurements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree is not mandatory
• Must have relevant working experience and sound knowledge in Quantity Surveying
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently
• Experience in Singapore construction projects preferred
• Familiar with PSA, SportSG, Town Councils, and Government projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QS software
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Professional certification in quantity surveying or construction management.
• Experience working on various construction projects, including residential and commercial sites.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Familiarity with contract law and construction contracts.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
