Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
- Handle project cost control, variations, and progress claims
- Prepare interim and final accounts
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend awards
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements
- Attend site meetings and conduct site measurements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree is not mandatory
- Must have relevant working experience and sound knowledge in Quantity Surveying
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently
- Experience in Singapore construction projects preferred
- Familiar with PSA, SportSG, Town Councils, and Government projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QS software
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Professional certification in quantity surveying or construction management.
- Experience working on various construction projects, including residential and commercial sites.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Familiarity with contract law and construction contracts.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
