Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposal and cost estimation for project tenders

• Responsible for project cost estimation during Pre-tender and Post-tender stage

• Handle technical queries during tendering process

• Reporting to Project Manager / Project Director for finalize tender closing

• Preparing tender proposals, technical drawings and catalogues for tender submission

• Prepare tender submission in good timely manner before final submit to Owner / Consultants / Main Contractor

• Liaise and establish rapport with consultant, contractors

• Take-off quantity for tenders, projects, includes sourcing specialists, suppliers and contractors

• Follow-up all quotations submitted and report quotations status

• Specify materials and liaise with purchasing department for sourcing of materials/equipment

• Evaluating and completing feasibility studies of design options including costing

• Prepare documentation (design drawings and calculations, bill of quantity, bill of materials, operation manual, testing procedures) for tender and project submission

• Analysis of project needs and constraints to determine cost effective solutions

- Assist in Document Controlling duties such as reviewing documents and maintaining proper documentation to meet regulatory requirements

• Attending to other ad-hoc matters

Qualifications / Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline

• Preferably with some relevant experience as QS

• Experience in handling ACMV/HVAC/Cleanroom/M&E Projects a huge plus

• Must be able to work in a team

• Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized
