Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tender submissions including taking off quantities and sourcing for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors; Sourcing, negotiation and evaluation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers through preparation of price comparison.

• Quantity take-off and cost breakdown for Pre and Post contract.

• Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders.

• Liaise with project team for material ordering, issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers and cost control.

• Work closely with teammates.

• Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Team player

• Prefer QS and accounting background

• Ability to communicate with all levels

• PC literate and proficient in MS Office

• Experience in tiles, furnishing and lighting trade.

• Ability to read layout and plan drawings

• Ability to perform under tight schedules and meet deadlines
