Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to identify key requirements and risks.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-off and cost estimation for M&E systems, including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, Electrical, ELV, and related services.
- Develop tender cost summaries and pricing sheets based on accurate quantities, material costs, and labour rates.
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
- Prepare technical clarifications, value engineering options, and tender submission documents
- Analyze tender addenda, clarifications, and updated drawings to ensure pricing accuracy.
- Conduct cost breakdown analysis and benchmarking against historical data.
- Participate in tender review meetings and provide commercial recommendations to management.
- Support risk assessment and identify cost-saving opportunities within design and specification constraints.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for up-to-date pricing and technical input.
- Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQ) and ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor offers to achieve optimal cost and compliance.
- Prepare detailed tender documentation, BOQ, cost comparison sheets, and submission schedules.
- Maintain a database of cost information, unit rates, and supplier contacts for future tenders.
- Support post-tender clarifications and assist in handover to the project team upon award.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's of Science in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, with strong exposure to tendering and estimation.
- Proficient in cost estimation software, Glodon, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Naviswork and MS Office.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, regulations, and practices (SS, CP, BCA, PSSCOC).
- Strong knowledge of Mechnical & Electrical System.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
