Job Description

• Contribute to the overall master plan for terminal expansion and infrastructure upgrades.
• Plan the layout of utilities, drainage, sewerage, and transport flow.
• Integrate sustainable design concepts (e.g. Singapore Green Mark standards).
• Prepare BIM/CAD drawings for design coordination, tender documentation, and construction planning.
• Manage BIM documentation and workflows - this includes version control and model coordination.
• Drive in-house implementation of digital design systems (e.g. integrating BIM into digital delivery systems like IDD).
• Prepare and submit design documentation to authorities via systems like CORENET eSubmission.
• Liaise with BCA, PUB, NEA, and JTC, ensuring compliance with national standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM drafters, ensuring that models are accurate, consistent, and aligned with design intent.
• Apply environmental engineering principles to design with sustainability, resilience, and coastal adaptation in mind.

The Successful Applicant

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5+ years in civil infrastructure design - ideally in large-scale industrial projects.
• Hands-on BIM design coordination experience (Revit, AutoCAD 2D/3D).
• Knowledge of drainage, utilities, and substructure design.
• Some exposure to structural or geotechnical design is a plus.
• Familiarity with Green Mark certification and sustainable design.
