Responsibilities
• Intermediate and robust knowledge and proficiency in cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration processes.
• Excellent proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, AutoCAD or other similar applications.
• Knowledge of PSSCOC construction contracts and the SOP Act in Singapore.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple subcontracts simultaneously, and comply with budgetary constraints.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
• Intermediate analytical skills and strategic thinking to identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Adherence to ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of quantity surveying practice and the company's policy, including but not limited to:
• Subcontract tender document (e.g. BoQ, Subcontract draft, SOW, cost comparison, etc.)
• Review subcontract's monthly progress claims and Payment Response issuance.
• Draft letters and collaborate with the Contract Manager as and when necessary.
• Regularly update the monthly Subcon payment summary, back charges summary, bond, etc.
• Any other internal process (e.g. Work Order, Payment Approval, ERP).
Requirements
• Possess a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Min. 3 years relevant QS experience, with one year in a senior role within the construction industry would be advantageous.
