• Maritime Claims & Services Pte Ltd (MCS), A well-established ISO Accredited Marine Consultancy & Surveying Company in Singapore was formed in 1997 to provide comprehensive range of services to the shipping industry.

• The Company are P&I Correspondents, Consultants to legal firms,Vetting Inspectors, Owner's representatives and Shipping Agents. Clients Include Governments, local and overseas law firms, Ship-owners & Charterers.

• Assignments include collition & accident investigations, expert witness attendance, claims handling, pre-purchase & specialized surveys, and ship assessment & vetting.

Purpose & Scope

• MCS Requires a self- motivated, intelligent Class 1 Master Mariner and/or Marine Engineer Class 1 to join the firm.

Job Requirements

• The applicant must be fluent in written & spoken English as they are required to write a formal report to our clients and have at least 2 years of sailing experience as a Senior Officer [Master/Chief Officer (Combined) OR Chief Engineer/First Engineer (Combined)] on dry-cargo vessels. He or she should preferable have surveying and auditing experience.

• The applicant will be based in Singapore and must be prepared to travel throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

• on-board training will be provided for the specialized functions of the job.

Requires Skills and Qualifications

• Class 1 Master Mariner and/or Marine Engineer Class 1
• Salary is in Singapore Dollars.
• Salary ranges: S$7,000 to S$10,000 per month plus job contribution-based bonus.
• Singapore taxation is applicable.
