Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-offs and ensure tender requirements are accurately understood and aligned with client expectations.
• Assess and recommend the award of construction contracts.
• Attend site and consultant meetings, working closely with clients, architects, and consultants for smooth project administration.
• Support the Project Manager in contractual and costing matters, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
• Prepare valuations, costings, and variation agreements, process claims, and track project cash flows.
• Verify subcontractors' and suppliers' progressive claims, obtain approvals, and issue payment certificates.
• Prepare and submit monthly payment claims to project owners.
• Review and update contract terms and conditions as required.
• Source quotations, prepare, and compile tender documentation.
• Evaluate tender submissions and draft clarification queries.
• Participate in tender interviews when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in the construction/ built environment industry
• Prior experience in pre- and post-contract work for HDB BTO projects is an advantage.
