6 Months Contract  Executive, Community Health (Convertible to Perm)

 Location: Central 

Reporting to the HOD, you will raise cancer awareness and education and drive specific call to action. You will conceptualize, organize and execute campaigns to drive public education of cancer awareness. You will engage strategic partners and community players to strengthen outreach to both the masses and specific target groups. You will work as part of a larger Community Health team to support outreach and advocacy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop the partnership and outreach engagement strategy and deepen collaboration opportunities with partners and stakeholders. Pitch with partners for collaborative program(s) that support cancer awareness and conduct engagement activities to continue to engage partners.
  • Drive targeted outreach efforts where relevant for cancer awareness and uptake of cancer controls, particularly in reaching the minority communities as well as through corporates.
  • Work with the World Cancer Day team to plan and execute large scale public education engagement.
  • Support the CH team for outreach efforts, community and corporate talks etc, and other Community Engagement Cluster events
  • Manage procurement and partnership agreements to ensure adherence to official guidelines
  • Drafting of reports and project status updates to the management and key stakeholders. Annual report write up for the campaigns. Manage phone calls for events registrations and taking other queries. Conduct post-event assessments and evaluations, including reviews of processes, frameworks, and impact measures, along with the development of strategies to better achieve each programme’s long-term vision and objectives
  • Conceptualize and lead community outreach programmes. Develop and maintain strategic and key partnerships in support of the department goals:
    • Identify and engage new strategic partners
    • Maintain and cultivate long term relationships with partners
    • Prepare the collaborative agreements or MOUs for the proposed collaborations
    • Build up cancer education resources with partners
  • Work with the youth team to promote Cancer Awareness, targeted to the youth, by developing the Youth engagement strategy, conceptualising and executing awareness program(s) and the execution of the #NextGenRising, including call to action, where relevant.. This may include:
    • Develop the key visual and message, together with the Committee doctors and the creative vendor
    • Organize virtual and ground activities – webinars, forums, talks, exhibitions and roadshows
    • Work with colleagues in/outside department for collaboration and to seek sponsorships for the campaigns
    • Identify potential influencers/ faces for the various campaigns
  • Drive the Community Health Digital platform(s):
    • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
    • Maintain Organisation's social media presence
    • Develop and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Insta, Twitter. LinkedIn, TikTok
    • Manage online engagement platform – Know Cancer to Beat Cance (KCBC)
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns
    • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing.
