• Mechanical skills as he/she will need to be trained to operate equipment (electric stackers, automated dosing machines etc)
• He/She will need to communicate/interact with sample requesters from the APAC region (Symrise staff from APAC), and internal customers (e.g. QC, Warehouse, Purchasing, logistic dispatch riders for samples, Production).
• He/she will need to learn software (e.g. SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Excel, Production systems etc)

Monday to Friday: 830am – 530pm

Job Summary

• Manage the physical oil stocks in the Fragrance Sample compactor.
• Be responsible for the accuracy of oil inventory in the Fragrance Sample compactor.
• Coordinate the movement of oil samples in and out of the Fragrance Sample compactor.
• Prepare monthly reports on oil inventory in the Sample compactor to the FS Library Manager.
• Be part of the Sample Production team to receive sample requests, plan for sample production and execute the plan.
• Be the key contact person for sample requests.
• Be part of the production team to manage production using the automated dosing machines.

Job Scope

• Manage the oil inventory in the fragrance sample compactor, including disposing expired oils on a monthly basis. To generate a monthly report on the list of expired oils to the Sample Library Manager and enter the sample requests into PACE/SAP.
• Control the movement of oil samples in and out of the Fragrance Library and update the oil inventory daily.
• To receive the sample requests in PACE. If the oil sample is available in the Sample Library, request the oil sample from the compactor into the Sample Production Team for repacking, otherwise, generate the sample requests into SAP, and release the Process Orders into SRMS.
• To liaise with the dispatch service provider and QC sample dispatch riders for delivery of samples and update the inventory.
• Request for raw material if they are not available in the inventory system. After the production for the new wins or 1st production, follow up with QC and the dispatch service provider for delivery of samples to customers / requesters.
• Compound fragrance samples using the Fricke automated dosing machine and/or by manual compounding.

Requirement

• Min Diploma in chemistry/applied science/supply chain/engineering
• Comfortable to carry up to 10kg
• Comfortable to work under strong-smelling environment
• Good interpersonal and technical skills
