Core IT Support (40%)
- Provide Tier 1-2 desktop support: Hardware / OS troubleshooting (Windows OS), M365 suite, network / printer issues.
- Manage user lifecycle: Onboarding / offboarding, account provisioning (Active Directory / Azure AD), and access controls.
- Maintain IT asset inventory (laptops, peripherals, software licenses) and resolve tickets via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Conduct employee IT training and create knowledge base articles.
Solutions Development (60%)
- Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas + Model-Driven) to digitize forms, workflows, and reports.
- Develop and optimize SQL databases (queries, stored procedures, ETL processes) for app data storage and integration.
- Automate processes with Power Automate (e.g., approval flows, notifications, data syncs between systems).
- Create Power BI dashboards for operational metrics (e.g., support ticket trends, asset utilization).
- Collaborate with departments (HR, Finance, Ops) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
Non-Negotiable Skills
- Desktop Support:
- 2+ years in end-user support (hardware, Windows 10/11, M365, basic networking).
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Intune).
- Development:
- 1+ year building apps with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, joins, schema design).
- Experience integrating Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, or SQL Server.
Technical Assets
- Power Automate / Power BI development.
- Basic scripting (PowerShell / Python) for IT automation.
- Understanding of APIs (REST / OData) for system integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose tech issues + design scalable solutions.
- Communication: Explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ownership: Manage projects from ideation to deployment.
- Adaptability: Balance reactive support with proactive development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals) or PL-400 (Developer) certification.
- Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, SQL DB).
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Background in supporting Sales / project / engineering / operations teams.
