As a Customer Service Officer at Singapore River Cruise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around ticketing, handling inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service assistance to enhance the overall visit and experience of patrons enjoying the Singapore River Cruise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ticketing:
- Efficiently handle ticket sales and transactions.
- Ensure accurate processing of payments and issuance of tickets.
- Provide clear information on ticket prices, packages, and any promotional offers.
- Generate daily sales and settlement reports.
2. Enquiry & Reservations Handling:
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via various channels such as in-person, phone, and email.
- Provide accurate information about cruise schedules, routes, and any special events.
- Maintain an updated record of all guests' reservations.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or issues effectively.
3. Customer Service Assistance:
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Offer guidance and information to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist visitors with boarding procedures and ensure a smooth embarkation process.
- Provide support to guests with special needs or requests.
- Keep abreast of updates regarding cruise schedules, promotions, and any changes in services.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to guests and colleagues.
4. Problem Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during the customer's journey.
- Collaborate with other team members to address challenges promptly.
5. Maintain Clean and Orderly Work Environment:
- Ensure the ticketing and waiting areas are neat and organized.
- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain a clean and welcoming boarding area.
6. Customer Feedback:
- Collect and document customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Share constructive feedback with the management team to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic computer skills.
