- Starting Salary: SGD2,000 - $2,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Quotation Preparation:Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for clients based on shipment details, routes, modes of transport, and vendor pricing.
- Vendor Coordination:Communicate and negotiate with carriers, warehouses, and transport providers to arrange timely pick-up, delivery, and storage of cargo.
- Notice of Arrival (NOA):Issue timely and accurate notices of arrival to clients and relevant stakeholders, ensuring all documentation and information are properly shared.
- Client Communication:Maintain strong and professional communication with clients, providing shipment updates, resolving inquiries, and managing expectations.
- Documentation and Compliance:Ensure all operational processes comply with customs regulations and company policies; maintain up-to-date shipment records.
- Problem Resolution:Address operational issues or delays quickly by coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in freight forwarding
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms
