Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, live chat, video calls, and phone.
  • Escalate critical complaints or issues immediately to the appropriate channels.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to management when possible.
  • Process customer orders using SAP software.
  • Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and documentation for import/export processes (e.g., preliminary packing lists, delivery notes, POD, safety data sheets, bills of lading, air waybills).
  • Perform accounting tasks, including setting up new customer accounts in SAP, issuing invoices, and monitoring payment deadlines.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and manage advance payment collection.
  • Handle Letters of Credit (LC) negotiations with customers and banks.
  • Create purchase requisitions for non-standard materials or installations in collaboration with installers.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for export control procedures, including relevant registrations and records.
  • Prepare Certificates of Origin and other export-related documents.
  • Collect and organize documents required for regulatory compliance and recordkeeping.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between customers and internal management to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Assist in the annual stock take at the third-party warehouse.
  • Arrange couriers for document delivery to banks or customers.
  • Stay updated and adaptable by learning new systems, operational processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure timely order processing and delivery to meet monthly sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to resolve customer order issues.
  • Verify freight charges with forwarders to support commercial sales quotations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'A' Level qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse/furniture customer service.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in SAP software.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
