Job Description
Requirements
- Responsible for developing new sales leads, understanding the customers' requirements, and ensuring a smooth sales process
- Generate sales quotations promptly and accurately
- Communicate with customers closely to follow up on new and existing businesses
- Procure monthly and spot ocean freight rates from liners
- Identify and propose internally for the most cost-efficient solution to fulfill our business commitment to customers.
- Identifying sales opportunities by understanding customers' needs
- Ensure effective cost management and productivity improvement skills to drive overall quality, implement best practices, cost, and continuous improvement
- Ensure resourcefulness and ability to leverage functional area expertise when handling customers
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in business, logistics or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience within the logistics supply chain sectors
- Strong coordination abilities with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively across planning, operations, and finance departments
- Good personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and diplomacy while dealing with complex issues
- Established track record in cultivating strong client relationships and handling service issues with professionalism and composure
- Able to analyze data and recommend solutions for improvement
