Job Description

  • Responsible for developing new sales leads, understanding the customers' requirements, and ensuring a smooth sales process
  • Generate sales quotations promptly and accurately
  • Communicate with customers closely to follow up on new and existing businesses
  • Procure monthly and spot ocean freight rates from liners
  • Identify and propose internally for the most cost-efficient solution to fulfill our business commitment to customers.
  • Identifying sales opportunities by understanding customers' needs
  • Ensure effective cost management and productivity improvement skills to drive overall quality, implement best practices, cost, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure resourcefulness and ability to leverage functional area expertise when handling customers

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in business, logistics or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience within the logistics supply chain sectors
  • Strong coordination abilities with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively across planning, operations, and finance departments
  • Good personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and diplomacy while dealing with complex issues
  • Established track record in cultivating strong client relationships and handling service issues with professionalism and composure
  • Able to analyze data and recommend solutions for improvement
