Registration & Admission
• Perform accurate registration for Emergency Department patients
• Manage billing for patients including payment & deposit collection
• Conduct financial counselling for patients / next-of-kin (NOK) who require admission to the hospital
• Assist patients / NOK / general public on general enquiries over the counter or through telephone
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
Bed Management
• Perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.
• Monitor and manage the bed waiting time for patients in order to meet the department's Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
• Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters
• Generate daily report and information for dissemination to the relevant stakeholders.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
• GCE 'N'/ 'O' / 'A' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline
• 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
• Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Working Schedule:
• Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts (including weekends and Public Holidays)
• 7am - 2.30pm (morning) / 2pm - 9.30pm (afternoon) / 9.15pm - 7am (night)
