Responsibilities
- Resolve customer service issues and escalate them to the appropriate department or manager to ensure timely solutions
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, to maintain effective communication
- Monitor import and export shipments and prepare job orders to support logistics operations
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files securely for easy retrieval and confidentiality
- Prepare and maintain reports, documents, and spreadsheets to track operational activities
- Coordinate with customers and relevant parties to arrange trucking schedules that meet delivery requirements
- Liaise with PSA and Jng Port to manage trucking details such as NMT import trucking timing, billing invoice corrections, portnet ESN settlements, and direct loading of export containers
- Assist the controller in monitoring the daily job schedule to ensure containers are arranged efficiently
- Control and arrange driver trucking containers from depot to customer locations, PSA, and Jurong Port to maintain smooth logistics flow
- Calculate driver trip forms bi-monthly to process accurate salary payments
- Handle driver petty cash claims to support operational expenses
- Process payments to depots for extra charges incurred when containers are returned
