Job Summary
The Customer Service Executive is responsible for providing efficient and timely customer support for navigational charts, and maritime publications. The role involves accurate order processing, customer coordination, and ensuring high service standards while working within defined operational timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries related to nautical charts, and maritime publications via email, phone, and in person.
- Process quotations, orders, invoices, and delivery requests accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain updated records of customers, orders, and documentation in internal systems.
- Manage customer complaints and service issues, ensuring effective resolution.
- Assist customers with product information, availability, pricing, and updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.
- Follow up on pending orders, payments, and customer feedback.
- Prepare periodic service and order status reports.
Working Hours & Overtime
- Working Days: 5.5 days per week
- Regular Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Overtime: 1 hour daily after 6:00 PM, subject to operational requirements and company policy

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and order management systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in shipping, maritime, or publications industry is an added advantage.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with coordination across departments.
- Flexibility required during peak operational periods.
