Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside financial counselling for admitted patients/next-of-kin (NOK) on estimated bills, available subsidies and various modes of payment
• Refer appropriate cases to Business Office/Medical Social Worker for financial assistance schemes they may be eligible for
• Assist patients/NOK in billing enquiries, and collect deposits/payments for outstanding bills and other items related to recovery, such as rehab items and mobility aids
• Perform settlement for daily transactions done via the credit terminal
• Explain and advise patients/NOK on various forms and necessary proof of documentation required, and assist in their timely submission
• Maintain the tidiness of the reception areas and workstations to ensure professional image
• Reply to emails and manage department's supplies inventory

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' levels
• Strong interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition
• Able to perform 3 rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
