Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding
• Position Title: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 9am-5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic up to $3,500 + Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Support import/export shipment processing and arrangements.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, NVOCCs, and co-loaders on shipment clearance, delivery, and collection.
• Handle the full set of import and export documents.
• Create and update job details in the system.
• Manage billing and costings, and issue invoices on time.
• Prepare manifests.
• Liaise with carriers, feeder operators, vendors, overseas offices, and customers.
• Check vessel berthing and schedules.
• Work with service providers and customers on shipment arrangements.
• Monitor shipments daily (arrival/departure dates and times, short-landed, survey, missing).
• Experience with DG Declaration, Portnet, and Tradenet is an advantage.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• At least GCE "N"/ "O" Level or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in shipping/freight forwarding preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills; detail-oriented, organized team player.
• Professional, positive attitude.
• Interest in customer service, data entry, and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
