We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician. You will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Your goal is to ensure the smooth operation of our technology, enabling our staff to work efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries via help desk ticketing system, phone, email, and in-person requests. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot & Problem-Solve: Identify, research, and resolve a wide range of technical problems in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• User Account Management: Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including creating user accounts, assigning permissions, and configuring equipment (laptops, phones, etc.).
• Hardware & Software Setup: Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Software Assistance: Install and support authorized software applications. Assist users with Office 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and other business-critical applications.
• Network Support: Provide basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi) and assist with the maintenance of network equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of procedures, solutions, and inventory in the IT knowledge base.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.
• Security Compliance: Adhere to and promote IT security best practices and company policies.
