Core Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Foresight
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to anticipate disruptive technologies (e.g., GaN and SiC).
- Perform horizon scanning and scenario planning to guide long-term R&D investments.
- Establish technology roadmaps aligned with national priorities and global trends.
Market Intelligence & Ecosystem Development
- Direct comprehensive market analyses to identify emerging verticals.
- Shape go-to-market strategies for new semiconductor platforms and IPs.
- Represent the organization in national and international forums to influence industry direction.
Strategic Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate high-level relationships with strategic customers, government agencies, and industry leaders.
- Lead executive-level engagements to co-develop solutions and secure strategic buy-in.
- Champion the translation of technical capabilities into policy-relevant and commercially viable outcomes.
Partnership & Alliance Leadership
- Architect multi-party alliances involving foundries, design houses, tool vendors, and academic institutions.
- Negotiate and govern strategic agreements (e.g., joint ventures, licensing, co-development).
- Drive ecosystem orchestration to accelerate innovation and commercialization.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Domain Leadership
- Lead cross-functional steering committees involving R&D, legal, marketing, and business development.
- Drive organizational alignment across technology development, commercialization, and policy advocacy.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Education: Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of semiconductor technology (knowledgeon wide bandgap materials will be a plus).
- Business Acumen: Ability to conduct market intelligence and build successful businesscases.
- Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Understand how emerging technologies create long-termcompetitive advantage.
