Title : Assistant Manager/Manager Finance

Location: Balestier

Working days: 5 days (Mon - Fri)
Working time: 830am-6pm (Mon-Thurs) ; 830am - 530pm (Fri)
Salary: $4,800 to $7,500

Job Responsible:

• Lead the accounting team in operational / financial matters
• Oversee daily finance processes and accounting tasks of various entities, i.e. AP & AR processing, GL, account reconciliation, etc.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Prepare consolidated financial statement based on IFRS
• Ensure internal controls and financial policies and processes comply with the standards and regulations governing registered Charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs)
• Support and ensure compliance with GST submission and donation reporting
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other financial reports for council and finance committee meetings
• Liaise with the membership department and manage the financial reporting on membership dues
• Coordinate with external auditors, bankers and government authorities where required
• Assist in new processes and system implementation where required

Requirement:

• CPA or Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification like ACCA
• Minimum 8 years professional experience in accounting with 4 years in a supervisory position
• Good knowledge of budgeting and financial evaluation techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment, particularly Navision
• Experience working in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and/or non-profit organisations or IPCs would be highly beneficial
