This position will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the investor relations strategy. This role involves executing investor engagement initiatives, assisting in managing the Straits Trading Shareholders' Club, producing high-quality external-facing communication materials, and fostering strong relationships with both current and prospective investors. The role also supports the company's capital raising and branding activities, ensuring transparent, compliant and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investor Relations, Corporate Communications Strategy and Planning :
  • Execute the approved investor relations & corporate communications plan in collaboration with senior management.
  • Work with the Manager/Head to provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance investor engagement and corporate communications.

2. Shareholders' Club ("SC") Management :
  • Assist to develop and implement strategies to enhance shareholder engagement and participation in the Straits Trading Shareholders' Club.
  • Oversee the registration process, ensuring eligibility criteria are met and membership records are accurately maintained.
  • Plan, organise, and manage shareholder events, including networking sessions, industry talks, webinars and etc.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and data protection regulations regarding shareholder communications and personal data management.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, speakers, and business unit heads to enhance co-investment opportunities.
  • Manage and disseminate shareholder communications, including press releases, investment opportunities, and exclusive content.
  • Manage the SC database and deliver insights through analytics, dashboards, and multiple data collection modes.

3• Financial / Corporate Communication:
  • Manage and coordinate investor relations events, including investor and analyst presentations, roadshows, and conference calls.
  • Create high quality presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for regular announcements and investor engagement activities.
  • Manage and coordinate workstreams with third-party vendors (including but not limited to website vendors. consultants and printers) to ensure production and delivery of high-quality external facing materials.

4• Reporting, Analysis, Materials Management:
  • Prepare and review periodic investor relations analysis, reports, and regulatory reporting materials.
  • Analyse asset performance and market trends to provide strategic insights to investors and directors.
  • Supervise the production, updating, and distribution of all relevant market materials to current and prospective investors.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all investor communication materials.

5Third-Party Coordination, Capital-Raising and Branding, and Relationship Management:
  • Manage relationships and coordinate activities with third-party consultants, including banks, trustees, and other relevant parties.
  • Support and contribute to the company's capital raising efforts and branding initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the company's market presence and investor appeal.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries and communications.

6• Others:
  • Lead and assist in special projects, as directed
  • Perform other duties as assigned and any other work exigencies and secondment that may arise and as requested by the Company.

Education Requirement:
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Corporate Communication, Real Estate or similar, from a recognised educational institution

Professional Qualifications:
  • IRPAS or IRS UK International Certificate in Investor Relations an added advantage.
  • Participation in CFA / CAIA program preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking related roles.
  • Experience in managing membership-based groups is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and financial modelling
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous.

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors and consultants.

• Confident with outstanding presentation skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

• Advanced copywriting and data visualisation skills for preparing high quality external-facing reports, press releases, and investor materials

• Advanced software skills in MS office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

• Strong project management skills

• Strong financial analytical and quantitative abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

• High level of initiative, responsibility, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proactive in identifying opportunities for improving investor relations practices and processes.
