This position is responsible for administering and managing the organization's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for administering the sales commissions for our corporate sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Compensation Management:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of competitive salary structures and compensation policies.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking with Mercer and market analysis to ensure compensation packages are in line with market.
  • Ensure compensation and benefits decisions comply with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, share awards, and benefits information.
  • Updating of new joiners and resignees for share plans and verification of costs for billing.
  • Updating of shareholdings for HODs for reporting.
  • Support the Senior Manager in the implementation of compensation review processes, including salary increases, bonuses, and incentive programs.

2.Benefits Administration:
  • Administer and review employee benefits programs, including medical, group insurance, wellness programs, and other benefits.
  • Work with benefits providers to ensure smooth plan administration, timely renewals, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Review costs and benefits assumptions for annual budgeting exercise.
  • Initiate and implement changes to benefits policies and programs in line with statutory guidelines and/or market practices and facilitate effective change management.
  • Ensure compensation and benefits policies are kept updated on staff intranet.
  • Partner with corporate and overseas subsidiaries on alignment of Group benefits policies where required
  • Work with HR Ops to advise employees on their benefits queries.
  • Coordinate and champion the Care Ambassador program.

3.Performance Appraisal:
  • Annually to set up and upload employee details and reporting structures into the system.
  • Update and launch the mid-year and year-end performance management exercises.
  • Work with Digital Office to ensure the system is updated and tested for each exercise.
  • Work with HR Business Partners during the year-end calibration exercises.
  • Prepare and upload respective eLetter templates into HRIS for release to employees.

4.Sales Commission:
  • Work with line to verify and compute sales commissions.
  • Analyse and check cleanliness of data, clarifying with the line as required.
  • Summarise and submit to higher management for approval.

5.Rewards and Recognition Program:
  • Review and assess nominations in line with past benchmarks for consistency and equity.
  • Revert to nominators on the final awards to their nominees.
  • Prepare monthly EDMs to announce the awardees.

6.General Support:
  • Assist HR team members with compensation and benefits-related tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements regarding compensation and benefits.

Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field, with IHRP preferred.
  • Some demonstrated experience in compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Ability in managing employee benefits programs, including plan design, budgeting, enrolment, and compliance. Experience working with benefits providers and brokers.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR teams and employees regarding compensation and benefits matters.
  • Hands-on in order to verify and process monthly sales commissions.
  • Proactive in identifying market trends and issues in benefits.
  • Ability to draft basic policy and benefits communications materials including EDMs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive compensation, benefits, and performance-related information.
