Sumitomo Forestry is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to spearhead our timber-based real estate development initiatives in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region. This is a unique opportunity to lead projects that integrate sustainable wood elements into residential, hospitality, and commercial developments-leveraging our expertise from Japan, the U.S., and Australia, as well as our extensive forest resources.

In this role, you will play a key part in identifying new development opportunities, managing projects from planning to sales, and working closely with both internal stakeholders and trusted external partners to bring innovative, environmentally conscious developments to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate real estate development opportunities in key Southeast Asian markets such as Singapore, India, and the Philippines
• Lead end-to-end project development-from initial concept and planning through to sales
• Conduct market and industry trend analysis; share insights across teams and report regularly to senior management
• Collaborate with strategic partners and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate development
• Solid knowledge of finance, accounting, and real estate-related legal frameworks
• Familiarity with architectural concepts or background in architecture is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainable development
