We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individual to join IMCB's Tech-Business team. The Tech-Business office is responsible for translating our scientific discoveries to commercial solutions and drive economic and social outcomes for Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for foster strategic partnerships with companies, develop viable business models, and create new ventures.

Responsibilities:

• Scan the technology landscape and industry trends to provide oversight to achieve success in commercialisation through spin-offs and licensing.
• Apply key account management techniques to understand the companies' technology roadmaps, business models, and technology needs.
• Engage companies to promote research and development capabilities, foster collaborations and drive economic value capture for Singapore
• Identify and develop exploration programmes
• Support venture creation and develop partnerships with venture builders
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop commericalisation opportunities and due diligence

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with a background in biomedical science, life science, pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in biomedical start-up or venture building or commercialisation of technology
• Good interpersonal skills to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to think critically and solve complex challenges
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and analyse data before making recommendations
• A self-starter, independent and resourceful
