POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Talent Management & Capability Development, the candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the selection, development, and succession planning of high-potential talent within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth. The ideal candidate will work with the Synapxe Academy team and collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and support the development of future leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

High Potential Talent Selection:
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to identify high-potential employees.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools and processes to evaluate talent.
  • Facilitate talent review meetings to discuss and recommend candidates for development programs.

Talent Development:
  • Design and oversee development programmes tailored for high-potential employees, e.g. programmes, rotation, engagement sessions.
  • Engage in curriculum development, learning design and creation (including identification of vendor, contextualization for Synapxe, content adjustments, selection of facilitator) as well as lead programme review for high-potential training programmes
  • Run mentorship programme that will enhance the talents' skills and career progression.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent development initiatives.

Succession Planning:
  • Work with Senior Management to identify critical roles and potential successors.
  • Create and maintain succession plans that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure that succession planning is integrated into the overall talent management strategy.
  • Drive potential successors' development and rotations together with the incumbent leaders and Senior Management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:
  • Partner with HR teams to ensure a cohesive approach to talent management.
  • Support the HealthTech Talent Council as secretariat.
  • Communicate talent management strategies and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree with more than 5 years of working experience and prior experience in Talent Management and/or L&D domains.
  • Proven track record in talent management and leadership development.
  • Attainment of the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance or other established learning and development certifications would be an advantage.
  • Ability to handle intense workload, set up systems and structures in a complex working environment, and project manage a few workstreams at once.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and have an enterprising mind to look ahead at the evolving needs of the operations and proactively manage.
  • Have a positive, growth and agile mindset, energetic, collaborative, meticulous, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with good follow-through.
