Role:
This is a full-time, onsite,Receptionist cum Admin Assistant Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,
You will work closely with VP and the AMs /AE and School Leaders(SLs) in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Sengkang ) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:
Reception
• Manage Front Desk duties with customer service mindset meeting the realist
challenges and demands of a Primary School setting
• Answer phone calls, attend to walk-in visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a dynamic environment where calls are voluminous)
• Maintain customer related information when required, eg phone log.
• Communicate with teachers regarding parents' feedback/ messages from phone calls or walk-in parents
• Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents/students/ vendors/saff etc
• Render first level assistance to walk-in students' needs including sick and injured
students. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases
• Handle/support situation when students' vomit, soiled their clothes
• Assist student in times of need, eg lost & found items, change of uniform, locating teacher/classroom/parent
• Assist in receiving of goods and incoming mails
• Maintain tidiness of the Reception area at all times
General Admin
• Assist in the counting / sorting / packing / distribution of brochures or leaflets/items to the teachers and students
• Attend to students leaving school early
• Assist in the dissemination of information: school circulars, parents' messages
• Manage stock of spare uniform
• Keep stock of first aid items
• Maintain the forms in the reception trays to ensure forms are current and
replenished timely
• Assist in Primary One registration such as making photocopies of documents; calling parents to submit forms etc
• Support any other general admin duties as and when required.
• Any other duties assigned by School Leaders/Head of Departments/Administration Manager.
Job Requirements:
Qualification
• Minimum GCE "N" level
Other Requirements
• Preferably has 2 years of relevant work experience, in a primary school environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player with a high level of initiative
• Good customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office
Summary:
Contract Period: From 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Working Hours:
• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
