Job Responsibilities
  • Daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders and delivery schedules.
  • Performing administrative tasks to support the purchasing department.
  • Preparing reports and documents related to purchases.
  • Assisting with data entry, pricing updates and item record maintenance.
  • Conducting market research to find suppliers and products that meet the company's needs.
  • Conducting market research on drugs pricing.
  • Inventory management - analysing inventory turnover.
  • Implements internal purchasing strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
  • Assist in audit processes (when needed) and the liaison with internal departments.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement
  • Diploma in Business, health science, or equivalent.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, candidates with experience in healthcare industry purchasing will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Resourceful, Self-driven, Independent, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
