Job Responsibilities
Job Requirement
- Daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Performing administrative tasks to support the purchasing department.
- Preparing reports and documents related to purchases.
- Assisting with data entry, pricing updates and item record maintenance.
- Conducting market research to find suppliers and products that meet the company's needs.
- Conducting market research on drugs pricing.
- Inventory management - analysing inventory turnover.
- Implements internal purchasing strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
- Assist in audit processes (when needed) and the liaison with internal departments.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirement
- Diploma in Business, health science, or equivalent.
- Preferred 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, candidates with experience in healthcare industry purchasing will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Resourceful, Self-driven, Independent, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
