The purpose of this role is to develop data analytics using statistical methods, machine learning and artificial intelligence models on time-series and image data and deploy these analytics and models on a cloud-based server.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the vision for Respiree group as a whole
• Drive projects across data science, product team members and operations team
• Hire and groom team members to deliver the strategic objectives of the company
• Work with hospitals, pharma and medical devices clients across APAC and US with an opportunity for remote work
• Act as thought leader for Healthcare & Life Sciences in the region.
• Working with large scale structured and unstructured electronic medical records data
• Developing predictive analytics algorithms with time-series data
• Developing image acquisition and NLP algorithms
• Developing prescriptive analytics algorithms with multi-modal data
• Implementing these algorithms in real-time on a cloud-based server
• Develop, build and manage databases
• Work with software team and managers in the design of scalable software
• Ensure overall integration and troubleshooting of software for efficiency
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and product team to improve integrate AI solutions in back-end systems
• Developing platform agnostic solutions
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for processing and interpreting sensor data (e.g., accelerometers, heart rate monitors, etc.).
• Research and develop novel digital biomarkers with clinical significance
• Apply data preprocessing techniques to optimize large sets of sensor data processing and analysis, handling issues like noise, missing data, and time-series synchronization.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Physics
• Preferable experience in data science of at least 5 years with knowledge in statistics and mathematics
• Familiarity in handling and managing healthcare data
• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
• Familiar with time-series predictive analytics algorithms e.g. LSTM, regression, random forest, neural networks etc.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, postgresql. MongoDB, Oracle), web servers (e.g. Azure, AWS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Able to work independently and open to working overseas
