Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and source materials, equipment, and services from suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate for cost-effective procurement
- Generate purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and ensure timely updates of order status in the system
- Ensure POs, invoices, and delivery orders are properly documented and attached with the necessary supporting documents
- Verify supplier invoices for accuracy, including quantity, unit rates, and data integrity in the procurement system
- Maintain records of company assets, track usage, and support asset allocation processes
- Perform filing, documentation, and other administrative tasks as required
- Assist in any ad hoc duties assigned by the superior
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level qualification
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in document handling and data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with procurement systems is an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills
