We are seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to support tax compliance and advisory functions, ensuring clients meet their tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax efficiencies. In this role, you will prepare and review tax computations, liaise with clients and authorities, and contribute to process improvements, all while developing your expertise in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax computations for individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, and withholding tax.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and timely submission of tax filings.
• Handle client queries and liaise with tax authorities (IRAS) professionally and efficiently.
• Support tax advisory projects by providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to expand tax service offerings to clients.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Continuously improve internal tax processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging tax laws and industry trends through ongoing training and research.
• Undertake ad-hoc tax-related assignments as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or a relevant discipline, with accredited professional qualifications.

Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in Singapore taxation, with knowledge of GST being an advantage.
