Responsibilities and Duties:
Requirements:
- Identify and targetbusiness segments and prospective clients
- Develop new client relationship within the Cross Border Trucker segment
- Respond to inquiries and participate in tender bids from both Singapore and Malaysia clients and agents
- Proactively follow up on leads, new customers, and routine order
- Manage and responsible for the Profit and Loss of the Road Freight (Full truck load and less than truck load)
- Provide regular reports detailing business development activities and account progress
- Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with various departments including control tower, customer services, operations, and finance to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements
- Supply customer's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to the control tower
- Ensure profitability of generated business at all times
- Align target accounts and objectives with management directives
- Maintain strong industry contacts and stay informed about market developments and regulatory changes
- Undertake Road Freight related projects and assignments as directed by management
- Uphold company and departmental quality standards
- Monitor and ensure compliance with service commitments to customers
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Demonstrated minimum proven track records of 3 years in business development and sales within The Cross Border Trucking sales or operations will ne an advantage
