SIMTech is looking for a candidate with Engineering and business development background to join the Industry Development Office (IDO) to take up the role of "Assistant Manager, Tech Biz" or "Manager, Tech Biz" in PE COI. The successful candidate will cover the following tasks:

• Engage companies to understand industry needs and technology requirements, and to collate the industry intelligence for PE COI.
• Formulate industry engagement plans and initiatives to establish collaborations and tech transfers to the companies.
• Formulate and initiate training courses for the industry.
• Organize industry sharing events such as seminars, roundtable discussions, workshops to outreach to the industry.
• Work with Marcomm team to develop marketing collaterals, newsletters, brochures for the various industry initiatives.
• Take charge of the business and legal documentations for projects, including liaising with companies and alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain good relationships with the industry partners and take charge of all business aspect in the on-going industry projects.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Preferrably to have 2 or more years of experiences in Engineering or Business Development role.
• Exposure in working in the Precision Engineering sector will be desirable for this position.
• Good customer relationship and management skills.
• Willing to take on required tasks beyond the job description.
