Assistant Manager, CEIT
Centre of Excellence International Trading (CEIT) is established to administer the International Trading Programme (ITP). It serves as a conduit to connect NTU with Enterprise Singapore and industry partners with the aim to nurture a specialized, global-ready workforce for the international commodity trading sector.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

1. Centre Administration/Student Outreach/Internships
  • Provide academic advisory to ITP students, supporting their academic and career development.
  • Assist with the ITP Curriculum Review, ensuring relevance and quality of the program.
  • Collaborate with the ITP Committee and various schools to increase ITP student numbers, promoting the program's growth and impact.
  • Working with CAO and ACE on internship postings and initiatives by Corporate Partners, including employer branding in NTU.
  • Prepare yearly ExCo reports on ITP student enrolment numbers, graduates and expected graduates
  • ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Secretarial support to annual Executive committee meeting.
  • Update and maintain CEIT shared folders


2. Financial Aid, Grant and Scholarship Administration
  • Manage all administration related to CEIT's scholarships, awards, and bursaries, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and governance.
  • Organize CEIT Awards ceremonies, recognizing outstanding achievements in the field.
  • Coordinate with NTU Financial Aid office on bursary and financial aid matters for the ITP students.
  • Handle all financial administration of ITP bursary, award, book prize, travel grant and etc.


3.Overseas Experiential Trips
  • Develop policies and procedures for the overseas trips, ensuring safety and educational value for students.
  • Organize Local and Overseas Experiential Learning Trips for ITP students, providing enriching educational experiences.


Job Requirements
  • A good bachelor's degree from a recognized University
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of experience in customer service and administration, preferably in the education industry
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively and work under pressure
  • Proactive with excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional work attitude
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking skills
