Manage Faculty Search Process
- Partner with the Dean, Chair, School Search Committee (SSC) and HR Business Partners in managing all aspects of faculty recruitment
- Plan, monitor, and track the status of each assigned faculty search to ensure service level agreement is met
Initiate Faculty Search
- Draft and seek inputs from School Search Committee (SSC) on Search Announcement/ Job Advertisement and seek approval from Dean/Chair
- Advertise job on internal and external channels based on inputs from SSC
- Partner with the SSC to plan the timeline of the key activities of the faculty searches.
Facilitate Candidate Shortlisting and Evaluation
- Request and manage references for shortlisted candidates
- Maintain comprehensive records of SSC evaluations for each applicant
- Arrange campus visits and interviews for shortlisted candidates
Approval and Selection Process
- Prepare and compile dossier documents required for seeking approval on the appointment of the selected faculty candidate.
- Facilitate submission of SSC reports, Chair's reports and Dean's reports to the University panel for approval.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Proven experience in handling administrative tasks, including document management, data accuracy checks, report writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on teamwork and a service-oriented approach
