Assistant Manager, Graduate Programme

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Graduate Programmes, the Assistant Manager in Master and FlexiMasters in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme oversees the operations of the postgraduate programme which include marketing and promotion, coordinate and prepare admission interviews and shortlist, admission, logistical arrangements for classes, assessments and marks, student engagement and management and manage the FlexiMasters Associate Alumni network and engagement. The incumbent will provide support for business development, to secure projected revenue targets* of S$600,000 on 30% increase every year.

Responsibilities include:

1. Oversee the operation of the Academy's postgraduate programmes, ensuring that FlexiMasters (FM TIP) and Master of Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme (MSC TIP) run smoothly.
  • Oversee the admission process - provide a positive customer experience to the candidates before, during, and after their application.
  • Ensures admission is in accordance with NTU's admission process and policy.
  • Ensures minimum admission numbers and quality meets the programme's target.
  • Ensure documentation required by NTU Professional and Continual Education (PaCE) and SSG are in order.


2. Lead in facilitating the use and troubleshooting of backend IT systems
  • Oversees and facilitates the use NTU backend IT systems, such as NTULearn and TEL, to facilitate teaching and learning and assessment.
  • Ensures classes and processes related to teaching and student management in both MSc TIP and FM TIP are carried out smoothly.


3. Develop the marketing strategies to increase the enrolment of local and international participants, extend programme's market share in Southeast Asia and Asia.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director to develop an effective marketing plan.
  • Organise and coordinate various marketing and promotional activities, including local and international information sessions and at selected education fairs and exhibitions, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage operating budget for marketing and student recruitment.


4. Oversee Student and Class Management
  • Provide prompt assistance and useful advice to new and current students.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the assigned classes and students.
  • Evaluate and adapt academic processes, strategies, and course offerings to optimise student performance, engagement, and overall educational experience.


5. Coordinate and Organise Student Engagement Activities
  • Conceptualise ideas and work with Leads of other programmes to execute strategies to enhance student engagement.
  • Oversee the implementation of projects and events, such as new intake orientation, experiential learning, graduation celebration, etc.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders


6. Coordinate Alumni Network and Engagement Efforts
  • Oversee the development of an archive compilation of alumni entrepreneurial stories of MSc TIP and FM TIP of students.
  • Promote of the alumni and associate alumni entrepreneurship stories and spirit.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities among MSc TIP alumni and associate alumni with various internal and external stakeholders and add value to the entrepreneurship community.


Requirements:
  • A Degree from a recognised university.
  • Experience in administering postgraduate and executive programmes in Institute of Higher Learning or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in SSG grant application and administration
  • At least 5 years' experience in marketing and promoting CET in Institute of Higher Learning or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in organising outreach activities.
  • Able to multi-task and manage requests effectively.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous, self-driven, able to work independently and as a team.
