The Corporate Communications Office (CCO) manages the university's strategic communications to consistently portray NTU as a global university founded on science and technology, with strengths in business, humanities, education and medicine.
We work in close collaboration with NTU entities and external parties on a wide and diverse range of activities, including: media relations, marketing communication, publications, alumni and giving communication, digital communication and social media, and public relations.
CCO is home to a world-class team of communicators, winning 100 international, regional and local awards in public relations, marketing and communication in the last decade.
The Senior Assistant Manager (Advancement Communication) will work with the Deputy Director of Advancement Communications, in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) and University Advancement Office (UAO), to develop and execute effective content and digital communications that support the University's initiatives to deliver successful philanthropic and alumni engagement programmes.

The Senior Assistant Manager (Advancement Communication) will work with the Deputy Director of Advancement Communications, in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) and University Advancement Office (UAO), to develop and execute effective content and digital communications that support the University's initiatives to deliver successful philanthropic and alumni engagement programmes.
The key responsibilities are:
- As a key member of editorial team in charge of alumni publications, the incumbent will be tasked with producing interesting and creative feature stories that profile NTU alumni which will instill a sense of pride among the alumni community, as well as creating beneficiary and donor stories that will inspire donors.
- Skilled in communication project management to promote the university's alumni events and philanthropic campaigns, including email campaigns, website content, social media content, video storytelling and directing infographics.
- Develop creative social media content across various platforms to engage a diverse community of 300,000 alumni as well as to celebrate their achievements, including through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and Xiao Hong Shu.
- Proactive in managing and updating websites' information, as well as be responsible for data tracking and analysis.
- Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, as well as social media and website platforms, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field. Candidates with no prior work experience but have a keen interest in digital content creation may be considered at a commensurate grade.
- Excellent knowledge of content creation on social media platforms and digital communications.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Creative, meticulous and resourceful.
- Able to manage tight deadlines independently.
- Team-player and eager to learn.
- Ability to film and edit short videos or use design tools will be an advantage.
