Senior Assistant Manager / Manager, Graduate Programme
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Assistant Manager/Manager for Graduate Programme to join our Academic team at the School of Art, Design, and Media (ADM). In this role, you will oversee the operations of our graduate programmes, including both Master's and PhD tracks, ensuring smooth academic and student administrative services. You will play a key role in marketing and admissions, helping to attract high-caliber students to our programmes. Additionally, you will support the development of new initiatives, such as continuing education courses and new Master's programmes, contributing to the growth and innovation of ADM's graduate programme portfolio.

Job Description:
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services and operational efficiency across all graduate programmes including new initiatives such as continuing education and self-financing programmes.
  • Oversee the planning, execution and management of administrative and logistic operations for experiential learning courses conducted overseas in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Oversee the annual budget submissions and ensure effective tracking and monitoring of the allocated budgets for all graduate programmes.
  • Work closely with the Associate/Assistant Chair and Assistant Director to develop, implement and review administrative and student support systems, increase the quality of the programmes and student satisfaction.
  • Review and streamline processes associated with academic and student administration and ensuring that internal processes are in compliance with NTU policies.
  • Oversee submission of proposal papers for new graduate programmes, new courses, programme change requests, curriculum review, fee revisions, etc.
  • Work closely with the Programme Directors, Assistant Chair, Assistant Director and Communications team to develop effective marketing plan for graduate programmes (including new initiatives like Minimasters and Graduate Certificate Programmes) to support recruitment objectives.
  • Work with communications team to develop collaterals and identify platforms for outreach and engagement with potential candidates (local and international).
  • Identify and coordinate various marketing and promotional activities including local and international information sessions and selected education fairs and exhibitions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Build a competent and motivated team through coaching, workplace learning, providing timely feedback and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse programme data and create visual reports to support decision-making and showcase programme performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems for graduate programmes and continuing education initiatives.
  • Administer and oversee continuing education and training programmes, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with industry needs.


Job Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in any discipline with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic administrative role in a tertiary institution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver with quality and timelines.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Proactive and has a service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience in data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a reporting officer, with the ability to create clear and insightful reports.
  • Experience in administering continuing education and training programmes is highly desirable
